📋 Description

• Coordinate onboarding for new 401(k), profit sharing, defined contribution, and ESOP clients as assigned. • Gather required data and set up new clients in internal systems. • Ensure a smooth handoff from Sales to Onboarding to Plan Administration team. • Partner with advisors, CPAs, recordkeepers, and investment companies to execute onboarding tasks. • Monitor onboarding timelines, proactively addressing delays, risks, or missing information. • Coordinate investment company conversions for existing clients. • Prepare, review, and deliver plan documents, amendments, and restatements. • Ensure compliance with IRS, DOL, ERISA, and SECURE/SECURE 2.0 requirements. • Collaborate with internal technical experts on regulatory updates and document changes. • Welcome new clients and referral sources, reinforcing Blue Ridge’s value and service model. • Participate in client and advisor discussions to support onboarding and document needs. • Follow established workflows to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance. • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and client experience. • Provide timely, professional communication to clients, advisors, and internal partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration (TPA experience required) • Strong knowledge of 401(k) plan design and compliance requirements • Experience reviewing a variety of documents, including complex and customized plan documents • Knowledge of onboarding processes • Strong organizational and time management skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Must be able to provide and maintain a distraction-free work environment, a professional workspace, and reliable high-speed internet connection. • Preferred QKA, QKC, or other ASPPA credentials (or progress toward certification) • Experience with FT William document software • Experience working with various recordkeeping platforms
