📋 Description

• Proofread and correct copy for grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting to a US English standard • Check product data, names, measurements and facts for accuracy and consistency • Flag character-limit breaches, structural problems, forbidden terms and diversity and inclusion considerations • Work from style guides, approved names files and briefs • Collaborate with writers to resolve queries • Adapt to different content types and requirements as projects arise • Review Amazon product listings, theme-related texts and other ad-hoc content before publication

🎯 Requirements

• Remote work — Eastern timezone US only • Proven copy editing or proofreading experience, ideally in e-commerce, retail or marketing content • Native-level US English • Sharp eye for detail • Ability to work accurately at volume and to deadlines • Confidence working within established guidelines and knowing when to flag rather than fix • Flexibility to switch between content types • Familiarity with Amazon listing requirements is a plus • Bachelor's Degree is asked about in the application questions • Must provide an hourly rate in USD • Must state weekly availability • Must specify the US timezone of residence
