📋 Description

• Translate documents from English into Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Proofread translated documents • Create and finalize deliverables before they go to clients • Work on documents for Insurance and Legal sector clients • Collaborate with managers and Project Managers • Meet the translation needs of international clients

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Specialization in Legal and/or Insurance translation • Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines • Asian time zone preferred • Must sign a confidentiality agreement • Must complete Translation and Proofreading tests • Must undergo a background check • Must provide a latest CV including relevant Translation and Proofreading experience • Must provide proposed Translation per-word rate and Proofreading hourly rate in USD • One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized higher-education institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
