📋 Description

• Extract data and perform segmentation and statistical analyses on large population datasets • Translate complex analytical findings into business insights for industry conferences and potential publication with leading media outlets • Serve as an internal expert on traditional and short-term lending credit data and its application to industry trends and current research • Aid in formulating research problems based on real-world needs • Deliver succinct and compelling analytical insights and recommendations through communications and presentations • Present to internal and external customers at various levels, including executive audiences • Contribute to descriptive, predictive, prescriptive, and statistical analysis projects • Apply segmentation, regression, clustering, survival analysis, and machine learning techniques • Mentor junior analysts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Applied Economics, or a related field • 2 years of experience in data analysis and statistical modeling • SQL/Snowflake • Tableau • Power BI • Advanced Excel/VBA/Macros • Apache Spark and Apache Hive • R Studio • Python, including numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, matplotlib, seaborn, and plotly • Data engineering • Exploratory data analysis (EDA) • Data visualization • Database management • A/B testing • Data mining • Segmentation models • Linear and logistic regression • Statistical computing • Credit and financial services industry knowledge • Ability to work with large population datasets on Linux and big data platforms
