📋 Description

• Participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures • Review, investigate, and document first-party property claims under close supervision • Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers • Investigate and evaluate relevant facts and documents, including leases, contracts, and by-laws • Determine and apply coverage for building damages according to policy terms • Establish accurate scopes of damage for building and contents losses • Prepare written estimates and/or computer-assisted estimates • Provide timely, professional communication to customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders • Maintain accurate claim activity records in claim management systems • Continue learning, particularly in AI and digital transformation • Adapt to new technology implementations, system upgrades, and digital tool rollouts • Participate in catastrophe deployments • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience • Bachelor’s Degree • Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance • Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law • Valid driver's license • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Willingness to learn claims management and estimating software • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to exercise sound judgement and make effective decisions within established authority • Exceptional customer service skills • Attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Basic conflict resolution skills • Ability to access and inspect all areas of a dwelling or structure, carry, set up, and climb a 38–49-pound ladder, walk on roofs, and enter tight spaces • Generally, required Insurance License(s) must be obtained within three months of starting the role, with ongoing continuing education maintained as mandated • Acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) and/or a UAS Remote Pilot Certification may be required • Willingness to participate in the Catastrophe Response Program and deploy to assist customers in other states
