📋 Description

• Participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures • Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under close supervision • Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers • Investigate and evaluate relevant facts and documents, including leases, contracts, and by-laws • Determine and apply coverage for building damages according to policy terms • Establish accurate scopes of damages for building and contents losses • Prepare written estimates and/or computer-assisted estimates • Communicate promptly and professionally with customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders • Maintain accurate claim activity records in claim management systems • Adapt to AI, digital transformation, technology implementations, system upgrades, and digital tool rollouts • Access and inspect all areas of dwellings or structures, including roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and other tight spaces • Participate in the Catastrophe Response Program and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience • Bachelor’s Degree • Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance • Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law • Valid driver's license • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Willingness to learn claims management and estimating software • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to exercise sound judgement and make effective decisions within established authority • Exceptional customer service skills • Attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Basic conflict resolution skills • Demonstrated openness to continuous learning • Ability to carry, set up and climb a ladder weighing approximately 38 to 49 pounds, walk on roofs, and enter tight spaces • Ability to obtain required Insurance License(s) within three months of starting the role, where applicable • May require acquisition and maintenance of a UAS Remote Pilot Certification • Participation in the Catastrophe Response Program, including possible deployment to other states
