📋 Description

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, administrative appeals and proceedings, mediations, and contested cases. • Communicate with insurance carriers, counsel, governmental agencies and third parties regarding subrogation matters. • Coordinate responses to public records requests in accordance with applicable law and organizational policy. • Maintain legal files, records and document management systems. • Coordinate responses to legal inquiries from internal departments.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years’ experience as a paralegal supporting litigation and legal document preparation • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must reside within North Carolina • Must be able to travel within catchment as required. • Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved or accredited paralegal program (preferred) • Experience in healthcare, managed care, government, insurance, or regulatory law (preferred) • Experience with public records requests, administrative law, and real estate transactions (preferred)
