• Ensure timely completion of initial and recredentialing applications • Assist applicants with submitting required credentialing documentation • Perform credentialing tasks under CVO management direction for Trinity Health RHMs • Follow credentialing policies and procedures • Maintain an accurate physician database • Collect data and participate in credentialing process changes • Identify and schedule reappointment candidates • Audit initial and reappointment credentialing files and provide feedback • Assist with training and orientation of new team members • Support daily data entry and integration of new RHMs into the CVO • Communicate with applicants and RHMs to complete credentialing requirements within specified timeframes • Contact primary sources to gather verifications for background investigations • Prepare verification documentation and reference summaries • Assist with reappointment applications, including information collection, verification, and follow-up • Meet processing time thresholds with minimal errors • Draft RHM privilege forms in the PCCB credentialing database module • Maintain confidentiality of patient, physician, employee, visitor, and external-entity information • Track errors and complaints for process improvement • Perform other duties assigned by the Director • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, compliance programs, and organizational policies
• Two years of post-high-school education, training, or experience • One year of work experience in a healthcare environment • General knowledge of the healthcare industry, including hospital settings, physician practices, and managed care organizations • Knowledge of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, hospital policies and procedures, and general licensing regulations • Knowledge and experience with database organization and management • Knowledge of report-generating languages • Proficiency with PCs and Windows-based word-processing software • Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and consideration of varying viewpoints • Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment • Ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures • Ability to organize work priorities and adapt to frequent changes • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects during high-pressure periods • Current CPCS and/or CPMSM eligibility preferred but not required
