📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a 65-location retail pharmacy network across 12 states • Align strategy with operational processes, financial reporting, and performance metrics • Synchronize pharmacy operations and standardize best practices • Lead automation and technology strategies • Support contracting efforts to improve access to affordable medications • Lead, manage, and advance people, processes, and programs supporting patient care • Implement strategic and operational initiatives, including new services, revenue enhancement, expense reduction, and managed care utilization strategies • Ensure performance excellence in quality, safety, service, affordability, and technology • Oversee drug utilization management, pharmaceutical supply chain, and financial operations • Direct Community Pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, licensing, federal, and state requirements • Develop strategy, goals, objectives, and operational standards with executive leaders and healthcare teams • Establish quality standards, monitor assurance activities, and create corrective action plans • Prepare operational and capital budgets; monitor KPIs and implement improvement actions • Support business development, revenue integrity, 340B compliance, community benefit, and contracting optimization • Integrate technology and centralized support services • Support clinical pharmacy programs, drug-use improvement, medication safety, and medication-use recommendations • Train, educate, coach, and assess pharmacist competencies • Direct procurement, purchasing, receiving, storage, distribution, inventory, and dispensing activities • Analyze vendor contracts, participate in negotiations, and monitor compliance • Analyze competitors, third-party financing changes, and legislative proposals affecting operations • Plan, implement, and monitor marketing and advertising strategies to increase market penetration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required • Advanced or Master’s degree preferred, such as PharmD or MBA • Minimum of seven years’ experience as a pharmacist • Minimum of seven years’ Community Pharmacy management experience • Current pharmacist state licensure within one of the states where Trinity Health operates • Obtain state licensure in the practice/employment state within 180 days of hire • Proven leadership skills motivating and empowering staff • Business acumen in a health system and pharmacy practice • Strong analytical and cognitive skills for budgeting, financial trend interpretation, problem-solving, and process implementation • Ability to plan, develop, and implement pharmaceutical care programs and services • Ability to identify opportunities, facilitate work groups, and develop processes • Ability to build relationships across system, regional, and ministry levels • Knowledge of current pharmacy practice trends and the changing healthcare environment • Critical thinking and innovative strategy development skills • Leadership, collaboration, customer service, team-building, and personnel management skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and graphics or presentation software • Honesty, integrity, caring, and ability to inspire others
