• Lead, guide, and direct Facilities and Local sourcing functional responsibilities • Develop and deploy system-wide strategic sourcing strategies, priorities, initiatives, and governance • Advise RHM, regional, service-area, and functional leaders on strategies and performance goals • Lead standardization, systemness, optimization, policy, process, and methodology development • Oversee vendor and contract labor management, including strategy centralization and spend optimization • Lead complex strategic sourcing initiatives and competitive sourcing processes • Manage high-value contract negotiations and mitigate high-risk project exposure • Lead cross-functional teams across Trinity Health and Regional Health Ministries • Develop and implement strategic commodity plans and category strategies • Maintain supplier and group purchasing organization relationships, conduct business reviews, and monitor supplier performance • Drive system contract compliance and optimize national, custom, and Trinity Health purchasing agreements • Analyze supply markets, spend, demand, forecasts, risks, trends, and total cost of ownership • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools • Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide actionable recommendations • Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, analyses, negotiations, and project execution • Develop, execute, and communicate strategies with senior management and key stakeholders • Direct assigned personnel and financial activities; set team priorities and goals • Conduct performance reviews, manage performance issues, and support colleague career development • Participate in lean/process excellence and quality improvement initiatives • Review, redline, and draft contract language in collaboration with legal counsel • Ensure adoption of strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle management systems • Partner with Finance to validate forecasted savings • Ensure effective handoff and implementation of executed contracts • Track supplier performance against scorecards and resolve service issues • Establish comprehensive sourcing procedures and perform other assigned duties
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, supply chain management, portfolio specific clinical discipline or a related field, and seven (7+) years of progressively responsible experience in a multi-entity and multi-level organization, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience • Leadership experience • Comprehensive knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract portfolios, and complex financial analysis • Advanced data analytics and procurement practices, including intermediate to advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar applications • Vendor relationship management and market trend analysis • Ability to develop work plans and lead sourcing professionals • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Operations and technical problem-solving concepts and techniques • Project management experience from initialization through completion using detailed work plans • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills • Ability to engage physicians, executives, and all organizational levels to influence and drive results • Ability to address conflict and challenge conventional thinking • Strategic thinking and cost analysis skills with understanding of financial management concepts • Ability to identify issues and formulate viable solutions • Ability to construct and execute complex analyses, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Economic Value to Customer (EVC), and Net Present Value (NPV) • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills • Knowledge of contract law and governing regulations • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage priorities • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence proficiency • Master’s degree in related field preferred • Healthcare industry experience preferred
