📋 Description

• The Senior Accountant ensures the integrity of Triquetra's financial records and reporting. • The role focuses on reconciliations, compliance, financial analysis, and process improvements to support operational transparency and informed decision-making. • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations. • Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing and collection. • Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment requests. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, reporting requirements, and audit standards. • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial analysis. • Build, maintain, and own a rolling cash flow forecast to inform liquidity decisions. • Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making. • Partner with the Senior Finance Manager and leadership on the Sage Intacct implementation, including data migration, chart of accounts design, and process redesign. • Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to optimize liquidity. • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. • Own end-to-end inventory and cost accounting, including COGS, landed cost, inventory valuation, and marketplace settlement reconciliation across Shopify and Amazon (via A2X). • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking of inventory and production costs. • Own the monthly close process and deliver financial statements within a 7-business-day close timeline. • Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger ownership and month-end close. • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling). • Hands-on experience with a cloud ERP / accounting system (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Xero, or similar). • Demonstrated experience building financial models, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections. • Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations. • Inventory and cost accounting experience in a physical product or DTC ecommerce environment, including COGS, landed cost, and inventory valuation. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fully remote environment.
