• Identify business-unit data-critical business processes and critical data elements in alignment with Enterprise Data Management and Governance policies, standards, and procedures • Define and validate business-critical processes and associated critical data elements (CDEs) • Onboard, propose, review, update, and manage CDEs and their business metadata • Perform business-process and traceability mapping • Review trusted-source assignments • Define Data Quality rules and standards • Implement and monitor Data Quality rules, activities, issues, risks, and mitigation strategies • Participate in Data Quality Issue Management Groups and Data Domain Working Groups • Escalate Data Quality issues to the Enterprise Data Governance Council as necessary • Assist in resolving Data Quality Issues • Maintain the enterprise metadata repository and metadata catalogue, including business terms, definitions, classifications, and Data Quality rules • Monitor data security, privacy, retention, and archiving requirements • Report or escalate data privacy issues and support compliance with privacy and corporate policies • Define Data Privacy rules, archiving, retention, and data destruction requirements • Monitor data alignment with national and regional regulations and corporate ethical standards • Collaborate with Technical Data Stewards, Metadata COE, Data Domain Working Group, Chief Privacy Officer, CDAO, and other business stakeholders
• Equivalent combination of advanced education and related experience • 8 years of experience managing business processes or making technical-related decisions on the business side • Strong negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills • Experience negotiating with vendors for relevant products and services • Knowledge of current and emerging application software products and tools • Project management experience, including multi-million dollar projects completed on time, within budget, and delivering quality results • Strong analytical and architectural skills • Ability to manage a high volume of internal client relationships • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business analytics, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) • Strong knowledge of Data and Analytics, including emerging trends • Strong understanding of banking operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in managing project budgets • Familiarity with machine learning, data analytics, and artificial intelligence in financial institutions • Banking or financial services experience, especially in a particular niche area • Financial Services Regulatory Reporting knowledge • English language fluency required • Must be able to work 1st shift in the United States of America
