📋 Description

• Own implementation and ongoing management of product offerings • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure operational readiness for new product launches and enhancements • Collaborate with product compliance, IT, governance, process improvement, and regulatory stakeholders • Serve as liaison among business partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and implement solutions • Leverage data, market insights, and competitive analysis to support product strategy and decision-making • Direct cross-functional initiatives for product launches, updates, and organizational changes • Own the product management governance framework, implementation standards, operational processes, and compliance controls • Escalate significant product, compliance, operational, and implementation issues and lead risk mitigation and resolution strategies • Oversee internal teams and external partners supporting new partnerships and products • Establish integration strategies and operational frameworks for partner implementations • Oversee product implementation and operational performance using metrics, trend analysis, and performance insights • Train product managers and product administrators and maintain the knowledge base • Lead prioritization of product implementation initiatives, regulatory changes, and operational enhancements • Lead or co-lead new product development, services, initiatives, and capabilities • Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and technology partners on requirements, design, build, and structure • Ensure transition from product development to product management and provide ongoing product training • Own internal work to stand up new offerings or capabilities • Support product leadership in bringing new ideas to life • Gather post-launch feedback and create backlogs for future product iterations • Work with compliance and legal partners on assigned products and services • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of progressive experience in product management or similar role, preferably within the insurance industry OR High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years of progressive experience • Ability to lead projects with minimal oversight • Experience in business or technology transformation • Compliance/regulatory experience • Driven to lead and support large scale implementations, including new product, portfolio, or service launches • Collaborative and strategic; seeks to understand the lifecycle of the business and works in alignment • Results-oriented with excellent organizational skills, adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously, committed to following through and completing assignments in a timely and professional manner • Preferred: 3-5 years in supplemental health, life, disability & leave, dental and vision, or related product lines in a support or individual contributor role • Preferred: Membership or participation in industry associations (e.g., LIMRA, NASBI, DMEC, ACLI)
