📋 Description

• Own the marketplace product lifecycle from understanding vendor and buyer needs through prioritization, launch, and iteration • Improve vendor onboarding, work submission, quality feedback, and offering management on HUD • Improve research-team discovery, assessment, and access to environments and training data • Collaborate with engineering, research, GTM, and operations to turn complex requirements and manual processes into reliable platform workflows • Define and track marketplace health, product adoption, and user-experience measures • Use user feedback and product data to prioritize future product work • Work on HUD’s data marketplace for RL environments and training data

🎯 Requirements

• Experience owning a live software product from discovery through launch and iteration • Strong product judgment and ability to simplify technically complex workflows for users • Experience talking directly with users, identifying the problem behind a request, and turning learnings into clear priorities • Ability to balance user needs, business impact, and engineering constraints in product decisions • Comfort using qualitative feedback and quantitative signals to assess product changes • Clear written communication and ability to align engineers and partners around decisions in an ambiguous environment • Experience with marketplaces or products serving two distinct user groups (strong candidate plus) • Familiarity with AI training data, evaluations, and RL environments (strong candidate plus) • Experience building a product function or establishing product practices on a growing team (strong candidate plus) • Early-stage startup experience and strong cross-team and cross-time-zone communication (strong candidate plus) • Ability to work hours with 70–80% overlap with either San Francisco or Singapore time zones • LinkedIn profile or resume required at application stage (at least one) • Evidence of quantitative or analytical ability required in application • Full-time candidates may require relocation or visa support to the US or Singapore
