📋 Description

• Serve as a designated expert in Finance SAP modules and business processes • Build and maintain relationships with business partners, customers, IS colleagues, and senior management • Assist the manager in defining Finance strategy and roadmaps • Implement and enhance SAP features using standard configuration and existing code • Demonstrate leadership in system development methodology, policies, principles, and standards • Research, recommend, and implement SAP best practices • Create and organize documentation covering best practices, business procedures, reporting, SAP configuration, and master data maintenance • Lead requirements definition, testing, training, implementation, and support • Identify and analyze problems, determine causes, evaluate solutions, and recommend actions • Identify customer requirements, develop test schedules, design and review testing plans, and track development results • Translate business needs into specifications for technical designs and programming • Solicit client requirements through interviews, workshops, system documentation, and procedures • Promote knowledge transfer on SAP usage and configuration techniques • Apply data-flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition, and business-process mapping • Develop and propose SAP solutions that support business objectives • Lead or participate in project plans and related documentation • Identify and communicate business or project risks to the Project Manager or team leader • Train end users on SAP modules and provide technical guidance and peer cross-training • Stay current with SAP functional knowledge and broader Information Technology developments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field and 8+ years of demonstrated experience in configuration of Finance SAP functional modules and related business processes, or equivalent years of experience • Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable • Experience with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 or above • Strong configuration experience in FICO submodules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Special Purpose Ledger, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, FSCM, Credit and Revenue Recognition, and Vendor Invoice Management • Experience implementing SAP at global, multi-site organizations • Detailed SAP module configuration and business process re-engineering experience • SAP Central Finance implementation experience preferred • Understanding of ABAP development processes and functional specifications • Understanding of FICO integration with SD, MM, and PP • Knowledge of SAP FICO functionality, including General Ledger, New GL, foreign currency, intercompany transactions, VAT, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank integration, payment methods, electronic bank statements, and asset accounting • Strong analytical skills and business-function expertise • Understanding of modeling techniques, SAP blueprinting, and SAP ASAP methodology • Experience creating business cases with cost and effort estimations • Ability to solve complex problems and work through ambiguity and changing environments • Strong oral, written, presentation, interpersonal, and influence-management skills • Project leadership/management experience, including leading project teams and coordinating activities • Global experience and orientation
