📋 Description

• Run the day-to-day data operation for democracyFIRST’s paid canvass programs in Nevada, Michigan, and Wisconsin • Support the Arizona volunteer program’s data work as needed • Report to the National Data Director • Own data for the Nevada, Michigan, and Wisconsin paid canvass programs • Keep Touchstone current by loading ballot return data and maintaining clean walk lists and data flags • Source and process early vote and ballot status data by state • Build ballot chase and ballot cure lists with the voter protection team • Maintain the paid-state voter contact tracker and progress-to-goal reporting • Troubleshoot the data pipelines behind reporting • Pull and refresh universes and lists for doors, phones, mail, and digital, documenting each pull • Serve as the first point of contact for state field leads on data questions and requests • Ensure data quality across Touchstone, VAN, BigQuery, Google Sheets, and the dialer • Support Arizona data work, including VoteBuilder lists, reporting, and data entry across county and partner committees • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Available to start October 19, 2026 and work full time through November 11, 2026 • At least one cycle of experience with organizing tools such as VAN, plus a canvassing app, dialer, or texting tool • Intermediate experience with SQL and BigQuery or a similar data warehouse, and Google Sheets • Experience managing large voter datasets and keeping them accurate under deadline • Ability to manage several tasks and projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and get up to speed quickly • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to a non-technical audience • Experience working across departments and partner organizations to develop data-driven solutions
