📋 Description

• Architect and implement scalable and efficient data systems, storage solutions, and processing frameworks. • Drive technical innovation and research into emerging data technologies and best practices. • Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle. • Serve as a subject matter expert in distributed systems and data technologies. • Occasionally travel for project or team in-person meetings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of software development experience focused on data infrastructure. • Proven experience architecting and delivering complex, large-scale data projects. • Strong expertise in Kafka, ClickHouse, Spark, and distributed computing systems. • Experience orchestrating, scaling, and managing containerized production applications with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm. • Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale data platforms on cloud systems such as AWS. • Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, and Go. • Excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills. • Proven leadership experience mentoring and developing engineers. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-impact results. • Must be based in the United States; the role is not eligible for hiring in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, or surrounding areas.
