📋 Description

• Responsible for the registration and scheduling of patients in a call center environment while maintaining excellent customer service. • Accurately and efficiently schedule new and existing patients in the current practice management system. • Answer a high volume of inbound calls in a timely, pleasant and professional manner. • Communicate all pertinent patient information regarding their call to include: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information, and copayments. • Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices. • Maintain and update assigned appointment reports, new patient reports or other assigned scheduling modules. • Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent • Customer service experience • Previous experience in a healthcare facility in relation to pre-registration or appointment scheduling preferred • Previous experience in a call-center environment preferred
