📋 Description

• Support Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders, contract modifications, approvals, and additional services related to project accounting and billing • Work with Project Managers to address overdue WIP and Accounts Receivables • Understand and interpret project contracts and billing terms • Participate in project kick-off meetings • Prepare and/or review Project setup modification forms to ensure project budgets and revenue recognition comply with TYLin policy and FASB ASC 606 • Train Project Accounting Assistant/Billers on Deltek Vision project billing terms, setup, and other project accounting functions • Set up, review, and approve new project and billing-term setup • Prepare and/or review first-draft invoices for accuracy and billing-term setup • Prepare or review final invoice packages with applicable backup for Accounting Manager approval • Communicate monthly project variances and issue resolutions to Project Managers • Prepare Subconsultant Accounts Payable forms and/or review sub-consultant invoices for proper coding and approval

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Minimum of 3+ years of project cost accounting experience • Experience managing medium to large-scale projects with changing scope, timelines, and consultants • Architecture/Engineering consulting industry experience highly desired • Deltek Vision software knowledge is a plus • Prevailing Wage knowledge and experience is a plus • Excellent 360-degree communication skills • Ability to multitask • Client-focused approach • Strong commitment to innovation • High levels of integrity and ethical, fair, sustainable conduct • Demonstrated collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team • Ability to comply with local health authority, legal, and lawful client requirements
