• Manage sales and relationships with existing Missouri clients, including MOSIP shareholders • Develop new relationships with public entity and corporate institutional clients • Identify and qualify prospective clients, lead formal presentations to agency governing boards, and secure commitment and funding • Promote PFMAM products and services across multiple client sectors in Missouri and surrounding states • Collaborate with client service, marketing, and product teams to drive asset growth and implement new client accounts • Meet with existing clients and prospects to develop relationships for MOSIP • Support SMA sales and identify multi-asset and OCIO opportunities • Prepare meeting materials, review investment policies and relevant data, and follow up with prospects and clients • Manage an active sales pipeline toward annual sales and asset growth goals • Provide weekly pipeline updates and participate in monthly sales reviews and quarterly meetings • Act as relationship manager for assigned clients and retain and grow existing assets • Lead new client onboarding • Share territory-specific market feedback with portfolio management and marketing teams • Represent PFMAM and clients at local government trade association conferences and events • Educate clients and prospects on market conditions and investment opportunities
• Typically a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Experience in portfolio management, sales, marketing, or relationship management with institutional clients in a Business to Business environment • Must be FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licensed, or complete Series 6 or 7 and 63 testing within 120 days of start date • Typically 10 or more years of experience • Deep understanding of Missouri school districts and school finance, as well as local governments, including finance staff, decision-making processes, budgeting, cash management, and debt issuance • Strong capital markets knowledge and experience • In-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services • Demonstrated strength in relationship management and business development/sales • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in managing customer relationships • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
