U. S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is a nongovernmental, not-for-profit international organization established in 1911 that advocates for and addresses the needs and rights of refugees and immigrants. Working with nearly 200 affiliates, USCRI provides legal, social, and health services to refugees, unaccompanied migrating children, survivors of human trafficking, and other immigrants across all 50 U. S. states and in countries including El Salvador, Honduras, Kenya, and Mexico. The organization also conducts refugee resettlement, offers targeted services for vulnerable populations, and advocates nationally and globally to influence humanitarian policy, practice, and law.

📋 Description

• Support the high-quality, timely, and cost-effective administration of the Missouri Replacement Designee programs, specifically RMA and RHP; • Understand and effectively oversee the standards and scope of services under each program; • Cultivate, establish, and maintain relationships with partners, external stakeholders, and support outreach efforts; • Coordinate, compile, submit data collection, and contribute to the analysis and reporting of programmatic outcomes for internal and external programmatic reports; • Serve as key point of contact for and coordinate with LPRs and the MO Replacement Designee (RD), Missouri Office of Refugee Administration (MO-ORA), who oversee other ORR-funded programs; • Conduct monitoring visits, desk audits, and provide technical assistance to enhance programs’ performance and adherence to contractual agreements; • Provide onsite and virtual case consultation, care coordination support, and training to LPRs and other contracted service providers; • Work on refugee and immigrant health initiatives, as applicable; • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as (but not limited to) international affairs, public/global health, healthcare administration, or social services, from an accredited institution; • Three years of demonstrated experience in programmatic and fiscal oversight, operations, training, administration, and contracting, monitoring experience is required; • Experience in the oversight of subcontractors required; • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract management; • Experience working with health and human service organizations, including federal, state, local governments, clinics, hospitals, nonprofits, and community, ethnic, or faith-based organizations; • Working knowledge of the overall refugee resettlement process; • Demonstrated track record of cultural humility and experience working with international populations; • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills such as writing reports and materials for different audiences and public speaking; • Strong skillset in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe, preferred skillset in MS Access; • Self-starter with the ability to work well in a team, juggle multiple priorities, and meet regular deadlines; • Strong attention to detail; must be highly flexible, and able to keep multiple assignments moving forward with a focus on continuous improvement; • Demonstrated support of USCRI’s values by exhibiting respect for others, maintenance of confidential information, and an appreciation of a multicultural workplace.
