📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional patient support by greeting visitors, managing appointments, referrals, and tests, and handling patient check-ins and check-outs with professionalism. • Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and respond to third-party payer needs, ensuring smooth clinic operations. • Build on the foundational skills of an Access Coordinator I, taking on increased responsibilities to make a real impact on patient care and clinic efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Two (2) years of customer service or healthcare experience • Basic proficiency with computers (preferably MS Office) • Excellent telephone etiquette skills • General knowledge of office machines, including printers and scanners. • Knowledge of basic medical terminology. • Knowledge of healthcare insurance eligibility. • Experience with EPIC Systems (preferred). • Experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment (preferred). • Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
