• Provide comprehensive clinical physics support for photon and/or proton therapy services • Support daily treatment operations, image guidance, treatment planning, and verification activities • Perform plan review, secondary and independent dose calculations, patient-specific and routine quality assurance, and comprehensive chart reviews • Commission, calibrate, and perform ongoing quality assurance of treatment planning systems, delivery units, and imaging systems • Develop, maintain, and improve QA programs in accordance with AAPM, regulatory, and institutional guidelines • Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, engineers, and staff to resolve clinical and technical issues • Support safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical workflows • Support clinical implementation and optimization of advanced technologies, including SRS/SBRT, proton therapy, surface-guided radiation therapy, motion management, dual-energy CT, and emerging treatment and imaging platforms • Participate in departmental and institutional committees, accreditation, quality initiatives, and program development • Educate and mentor residents, students, and staff • Contribute to professional development, continuous improvement, operational excellence, translational clinical research, and departmental service • Perform other duties as assigned
• PhD or Master's in Physics or a closely related discipline • ABR Certification or Eligibility in Therapeutic Radiological Physics • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment • Required license or certificate documentation • Three professional references, including name, email, and business title • Resume • Subject to pre-employment screening, including criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification • Ability to provide independent professional expertise in treatment planning, dose calculation, and quality assurance • Knowledge of applicable AAPM, regulatory, and institutional standards • Preferred: PhD • Preferred: Graduation from a CAMPEP-approved Medical Physics Residency Program • Preferred knowledge of Eclipse, Brainlab, Oncentra, CRAD Surface imager, proton therapy, Proteus One, Ethos-based adaptive planning, ARIA, MIMVista, and RadCalc
