• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations • Develop individualized treatment plans • Prescribe Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) via telehealth • Provide high-quality, direct clinical care in the 100% remote Addiction Medicine program • Deliver virtual, patient-centered, evidence-based treatment to individuals with substance use disorders • Manage a diverse patient caseload autonomously • Collaborate and communicate with all members of the care team • Provide on-call coverage Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Must reside in Hawaii • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Hawaii • DEA registration and Hawaii NED license • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or a related field, with experience in telehealth • Knowledge of evidence-based addiction treatment, including pharmacotherapy and behavioral interventions • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills in addiction and mental health • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, telehealth video software, and other digital health tools • Ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse patient caseload in a remote setting • Commitment to patient-centered care, cultural competency, and reducing health disparities • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality • Preferred: Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Addiction Medicine
