📋 Description

• Engage with civil, structural, and electrical design teams and clients to provide innovative design solutions. • Develop construction documents for the civil design scope of utility scale wind generation projects. • Apply current engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to engineering tasks. • Develop plans, specifications, and observation reports that are complete and accurate. • Recommend alterations to development criteria and design features to improve quality. • Perform design computations and calculations related to civil site design. • Work closely with business and engineering staff across multiple markets and technical disciplines. • Collaborate with clients to understand technical needs and identify best solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required. • Civil Engineering-In-Training (EIT) registration required. • 2-4 years of civil engineering experience, required, with at least 1-2 years of experience in design and development of renewable energy projects preferred. • Understanding of large-scale site grading design, additions to existing civil designs, and earthwork calculations is required. • Familiarity with erosion and sediment control applications and temporary stormwater treatment techniques is highly desired. • Experience performing detailed design of renewable facilities with complex topographic, environmental, and non-participating infrastructure constraints is desired. • Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
