📋 Description

• Design, program, install, troubleshoot, test, and commission automation systems • Develop and implement logic for complex custom applications • Create SCADA point lists, RTU programs, and HMI interfaces • Program and commission RTUs, PACs, and HMIs for renewable and power utility clients • Develop design packages for site network and SCADA communication architectures • Ensure designs comply with client and regulatory requirements • Maintain positive client relationships with frequent internal and external interaction • Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria • Develop plans, specifications, and observation reports • Recommend design alterations to improve quality • Work with engineering technicians and experienced electrical engineers • Perform detailed engineering design and evaluations • Coach and mentor others • Complete tasks and projects within allotted time • Help develop project schedules • Prepare project-direction reports and correspondence • Participate in marketing, sales, and business development activities • Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met • Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required • ABET-accredited program or equivalent required • Professional Engineering (PE) license required • 7-9+ years of relevant experience required • Proficiency and working knowledge of communication protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus • Knowledge of internet network architectures • Network design experience • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access proficiency • Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain prior to starting date • Authorization to work permanently in the US • Willingness to travel 15-20% of the year
