📋 Description

• Support land development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects • Collaborate with civil, structural, and electrical design teams and clients • Work with the project engineer to complete detailed civil design solutions • Apply industry design standards on development projects and coach others on the team • Proactively address potential design issues using prior design experience • Help develop and refine design and drafting standards • Practice efficiency engineering for design selection • Work with engineering technicians and experienced engineers • Perform AutoCAD Civil 3D design focused on road layout, mass site grading, earthwork takeoffs, stormwater, and erosion and sediment control plans • Communicate and interact with clients to meet their needs • Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent required • Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience to a civil engineering technician role • 3-4+ years of experience in design of large land development projects required • Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D required • Proficient at large scale site grading design, additions to existing civil designs, and earthwork calculations required • Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills • Must be analytical, self-motivated, and able to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US
