📋 Description

• Lead large, multi-disciplinary engineering projects from initiation through close-out for the Power Lifeline Sector • Manage project scope, stakeholders, schedule, budget, and quality • Coordinate highly matrixed project execution teams and resources • Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and problem-solving sessions • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations • Develop detailed project plans, including risk management and mitigation strategies • Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and implement recommendations • Represent projects to clients and provide status updates • Collaborate with engineering teams to manage technical project aspects • Lead coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation • Track schedules, costs, milestones, budgets, financial transactions, and project progress • Take corrective actions and maintain up-to-date project plans • Monitor project health and key metrics • Adhere to governance policies and procedures • Apply contract strategy across prime and client agreements • Establish effective working relationships across project teams • Share and implement best practices across projects and teams • Provide training and support to project team members • Solve problems, set priorities, organize work, and maintain customer focus

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience • 8+ years of project management experience • Significant experience in engineering projects • Power industry experience preferred • Technical engineering knowledge required • Ability to understand and coordinate solutions for complex engineering challenges • PE, PMP, CCM or equivalent certification preferred • Proven leadership and experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across project/program management, services, engineering, operations, and procurement • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Planview Adaptive Work • Advanced understanding and experience of scheduling and cost planning • Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations experience preferred • Permanent work authorization to work in the United States • Relevant military experience considered
