📋 Description

• Manage SBLC (Small Business Loan Center) and Business Banking accounts on the Watch List and/or in workout • Develop strategies for resolution • Manage customer relationships • Monitor collateral position • Monitor financial performance, including comparisons to budget/plan • Monitor covenants and take appropriate action • Write up credit requests • Assist in maintaining up-to-date loan risk rating sheets • Keep loan documentation files updated as information is obtained • Engage field exams and appraisals as needed • Keep account logs updated monthly or more often when necessary • Maintain relationships with Loan Officers associated with the credits • Maintain relationships with internal and/or external legal counsel • Partner with other UMB groups as needed, including Bank Card, Treasury, Capital Corp, and Operations • Perform impairment reviews when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field • 5+ years progressive experience including a combination of cash flow and asset based lending, identification of risk and satisfactory underwriting of same • 3 years experience managing problem loans • Any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background • Good problem solving and sound decision making skills • Good organizational skills • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of customer, peers, senior management, and outside vendors • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Attention to detail • Ability to multi-task and maintain mental concentration to balance interruptions and prioritize simultaneous tasks • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Stucky (ABL system) • Thorough knowledge of commercial lending transaction documentation, including legal documentation, collateral perfection, legal and regulatory requirements, and policy exceptions • Credit Review experience (bonus)
