📋 Description

• Handle incoming phone calls from patients, families, and referring providers to schedule appointments • Schedule appointments across multiple providers, clinics, departments, practices, and campuses • Make outbound calls to patients to schedule specialist and subspecialist appointments • Collect and update patient demographics, insurance information, and account guarantor details • Process insurance and demographic corrections • Collect patient liabilities before or on the date of service, as appropriate • Secure medical records from outside healthcare organizations • Schedule in-office procedures and procedure rooms

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required • English speaking, reading and writing skills • Strong intrapersonal and communication skills • Associate’s degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred • Previous scheduling and/or phone customer services experience preferred • Previous experience in a health care organization preferred • Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing skills preferred • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted where certification, licensure, or registration is not required
