📋 Description

• Support Collections activities through phone calls and communication with borrowers • Provide account updates and arrange payments and payment plans • Provide information and guidance on affordable home-retention options • Collect and accurately input borrower data • Communicate non-home-retention and disposition benefits • Follow up with borrowers regarding deficient requirements • Issue compliant letters and disclosures according to investor guidelines • Review applications to determine eligibility under investor guidelines • Review and authorize short-sale closing documents • Coordinate with company attorneys to execute Deed-in-Lieu of Foreclosure documents • Communicate with borrowers’ realtors and provide short-sale guidance • Explain complete-assistance-application requirements to borrowers • Underwrite complete applications to determine appropriate workout options • Send communications according to guideline timelines • Review income and credit reports to determine eligibility • Monitor OCC bulletins, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and other investor guidelines for departmental compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or equivalent work experience • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Lotus, and applicable computer systems • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Effective problem solver and troubleshooter • Advanced knowledge of Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Property Preservation, and associated policies and procedures • Knowledge of Title and preparing Loan Modification documents • Accurate data entry • Above average customer service skills • Organization skills • Problem solving/critical thinking • Analytical skills • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing • Ability to use telephone, copiers, fax machines, computers, internet, and other company equipment • English-language reading, writing, and communication skills sufficient to perform job functions • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employer participates in E-Verify
