📋 Description

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies • Maintain the chart of accounts and proper account coding • Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals and prepaids • Support financial statement and management reporting preparation • Assist with internal and external audit requests, schedules, and documentation • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies • Administer the corporate travel and entertainment program and enforce related policies • Review, audit, and approve expense reports • Reconcile corporate card activity, including statements, disputes, and GL postings • Process T&E journal entries and account reconciliations • Troubleshoot the Ramp T&E system • Identify and report T&E spending trends, exceptions, and policy violations • Support T&E policy updates and employee communications/training • Serve as backup processor for semi-monthly/biweekly payroll • Review and validate timekeeping data, deductions, and employee changes • Assist with payroll journal entries and GL reconciliations • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries • Maintain payroll confidentiality and regulatory compliance • Participate in payroll backup cross-training • Assist with external audit and tax filing schedules and documentation • Help maintain and improve GL and T&E processes and internal controls • Support ERP transactions and workflows in NetSuite • Recommend automation and accuracy improvements for GL and T&E operations • Maintain customer portals and registration documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience • Experience with expense management/T&E systems such as Ramp or Concur preferred • Payroll processing exposure, such as ADP, Workday, or Paylocity, a plus • Strong Excel skills • ERP system experience, such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Dynamics • High attention to detail • Discretion with confidential data • Strong organizational skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting highly preferred • Must pass a background check including criminal, employment, and education verification
