📋 Description

• Develop and execute strategic account plans across large academic centers, integrated delivery networks, and specialty clinics to drive Tyvaso adoption and growth • Serve as the primary strategic contact for designated accounts and health systems • Educate healthcare professionals and increase awareness of PH-ILD and IPF • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and specialty distributor staff • Partner with regional teams to shape engagement strategies at centers of excellence, teaching hospitals, and fellowship programs • Coordinate opportunities across affiliated hospitals, academic centers, pharmacies, and health system networks • Map stakeholders across complex institutions and execute account plans • Analyze sales reports and develop business plans to increase disease awareness and product adoption • Coordinate with field-based team members on product and disease education, use, and access objectives • Provide quarterly business plans, reviews, and routine stakeholder updates • Utilize resources to drive sales with key customers • Maintain expert knowledge of disease state, products, and competitive landscape • Use sales force automation for territory effectiveness and record-keeping • Complete administrative requirements, including expense and call reporting • Comply with commercial compliance, corporate, regulatory, and promotional guidelines • Manage assigned budget and track territory expenses • Attend medical symposia and conferences to provide education and promotional support • Engage with the PH and ILD community through approved educational programs and awareness events • Participate in sales and marketing project teams to increase Tyvaso sales and awareness

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in nursing or life science • 12+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, specialty pharmaceutical, or biotech marketplaces successfully selling to specialist physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals • 8+ years of experience with cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease therapeutic areas • 5+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales • 3+ years of experience selling pharmaceutical products distributed through specialty pharmacies • 3+ years of experience working with hospital pharmacies • 5+ years of experience selling within institutional or major teaching center environments, or 3+ years of experience working with integrated delivery networks • Valid in-state driver license • Track record of selling excellence in hospitals and academic centers • Ability to navigate complex health systems, integrated delivery networks, and multi-stakeholder account environments • Decision-making, planning, and interpersonal skills • Execution of marketing strategies and utilization of marketing resources, including educational speaker programs • Territory management skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Collaboration with teammates across various departments • Expert-level knowledge of United Therapeutics products and services • Ability to work remotely within California • Ability to travel up to 75%, mostly in-state
