📋 Description

• Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in Environmental Justice and/or related courses • Teach asynchronously in online baccalaureate degree programs • Manage courses averaging 20 students per course • Provide timely feedback • Engage in Discussion Board tasks • Respond to students • Teach courses during the applicable five-week academic terms

🎯 Requirements

• Terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in environmental studies, environmental justice, philosophy or ethics, environmental law, environmental policy, or a related discipline, or a master's degree with ample professional experience in the field • Professional or research experience addressing environmental justice, environmental equity, or environmental advocacy in community, organizational, policy, or educational settings • Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately using e-mail and digital conferencing tools • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college • Experience teaching adult learners and/or teaching in an online context (desired) • Experience using Canvas or other Learning Management System to facilitate learning (desired) • Must reside within the United States for the entire duration of the academic term • Submit a CV and unofficial copies of transcripts; optional cover letter
