📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison and point of contact between IT and assigned functional business areas for software development and enhancement projects • Develop comprehensive project plans for large-scale projects • Prepare and facilitate status meetings and reports • Manage resources according to project schedules • Document functional business processes, including business cases, as-is and to-be process flow diagrams, report specifications, functional requirements, and data mapping and flow diagrams • Research and analyze proposed projects for feasibility, ROI, level of effort and durability • Present findings and recommendations to management • Define testing requirements, including regression, user acceptance and other testing • Stage data and perform final test execution • Support quality assurance and control through data analysis during pre- and post-implementation reviews • Build working relationships with internal and external team members to understand and resolve requests • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or technology related field and five (5) years of relevant experience in a business analyst capacity; OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and nine (9) years of relevant experience in a business analyst capacity • Understanding of the business and information systems used to manage related information • Five (5) years of relevant work experience in the business analyst capacity • Proven experience in project management, status tracking and organizing business analysis documentation for projects • Demonstrated knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Ability to periodically work some nights, weekends or on call • Experience in the Higher Education Industry • Understanding of data transfer between systems using technologies such as interface files and HTTP calls • Ability to manage and implement projects effectively • Strong documentation and communication skills • Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills • Ability to write and run SQL queries • Understanding of application programming, database and system design • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile SCRUM software development lifecycles
