📋 Description

• Review unpaid accounts and take appropriate action to receive proper reimbursement and reduce the overall AR balance. • Ensure payments received are appropriate and in full. • Meet established productivity benchmarks and requirements set by the supervisor. • Properly document all actions and reviews performed. • Report infractions, errors, breaches, and identified trends. • Correct accounts by verifying payers, identifying payer overlaps, reviewing medical EOBs, taking adjustments or transfers, and creating tasks for money reapplication. • Attend remote meetings via live video. • Identify state billing rules and guidelines, including statutes of limitations. • Assist internal and external customers as needed. • Create, respond to, or complete tasks within designated time frames or due dates. • Report actions and findings for escalated or supervisor-assigned accounts in a timely manner. • Complete other projects and duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of revenue cycle experience may be considered in lieu of additional education. • 1+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations, including Medicare and commercial insurance, in a high-volume production environment. • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Ability to analyze processes, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision. • Professional demeanor with a positive, customer-focused attitude. • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. • 3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare and Commercial Insurance in a high production environment (nice to have).
