📋 Description

• Installs, configures, and maintains network hardware, software, and Azure components including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, Virtual WAN (VWAN), firmware updates, and cabling • Performs routine backups, system updates, patching, and upgrades to maintain network integrity and security • Monitors network performance, system alerts, and security logs to identify and resolve potential issues proactively • Diagnoses and resolves network problems when alerted by users or automated monitoring systems • Maintains accurate records of network configurations, procedures, and activities for compliance and troubleshooting purposes

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 2 years of experience in network administration or a similar role • CompTIA Network+ certification, or equivalent experience preferred • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, and network protocols • Experience with Azure networking (VWAN, VPN Gateway, NSGs) • Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security best practices • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills • Experience with cloud networking and hybrid environments preferred • Knowledge of scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python) preferred • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and SIEM platforms preferred
