📋 Description

• Set up sponsored awards in ResearchUVA Powered by Huron and Workday Financials • Review awards for conformity with University, federal, state, and sponsor policies • Identify, articulate, and resolve issues in award and agreement reviews through contact and follow-up • Identify award management terms and conditions, including allowable costs, reporting requirements, and billing terms • Advise University faculty and staff on research administration compliance • Manage a complex portfolio while providing quality service and meeting sponsor deadlines • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for award setup and non-financial post-award research administration • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • At least three years of relevant experience required • Grants and contracts experience preferred • A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • Strong listening and communication skills • Ability to learn new systems and grasp new concepts and processes easily and efficiently • Ability to work self-sufficiently while contributing to the Pre-Award team • Excellent time management and organizational skills • At least three years of relevant grants and contracts experience in research administration preferred • At least one year of experience in an award setup role at an institution of higher education preferred • Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification or similar preferred • Must not require sponsorship at this time • Successful completion of background check prior to employment • Resume and cover letter required • Minimum of three references required via SkillSurvey; five references requested
