📋 Description

• Edit content on HR and FEAP websites • Build new webpages and create and add meta descriptions • Assist with the annual benefits Open Enrollment campaign, including social media campaign development, graphic design, data analytics, and additional support • Assist with developing stories about exceptional UVA employees for distribution through various channels • Take photos at UVA events and around Grounds for social media, websites, and collateral materials • Contribute creative content ideas for UVA Careers social media posts • Pull DubBot accessibility reports, track and report improvements, and identify opportunities to improve digital accessibility • Update HR employee lists in Excel spreadsheets • Support team members on HR projects throughout the year • Report officially to the Director of HR Communications and receive regular project oversight from the Senior Communications Specialist • Collaborate with and provide support services for the six-person team

🎯 Requirements

• Current UVA student • Must be eligible for federal work-study • No prior experience required • No licensure required • Must include a resume with the application • Ability to work approximately 6–8 hours per week from early September through April, subject to the student’s schedule • Primarily sedentary work involving extensive desktop computer use • Occasional travel some distance to attend meetings and programs
