📋 Description

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls as the first point of contact for patients across UW Medicine • Schedule appointments and register patients using electronic systems • Verify insurance eligibility and maintain data accuracy • Route calls and take complete, accurate messages • Coordinate referrals and enter prior authorizations in Epic • Provide compassionate customer service and resolve issues • Collaborate with clinics, Financial Counselors, and Interpreter Services • Support the patient portal and resolve inquiries • Document interactions and update data during scheduling • Adhere to performance standards, compliance requirements, and confidentiality

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • One year of general office experience, or experience in customer service, a call center environment, or problem resolution • Equivalent education/experience accepted • Ability to handle high-volume inbound calls in a fast-paced contact center • Appointment scheduling and registration using electronic systems • Insurance eligibility verification and data accuracy • Referral coordination and prior authorization entry in Epic • Customer service and issue resolution • Adherence to compliance and confidentiality requirements
