📋 Description

• Execute full-scope IT audits and control reviews under the direction of senior auditors and the IT Audit Manager • Coordinate, manage, and respond to audit information requests and meeting requests • Perform liaison activities throughout the audit life cycle, from planning through reporting • Perform audit-readiness tasks, including reviewing prior audit findings and researching regulatory and industry practices • Schedule meetings, document meeting minutes, and store records centrally • Share information with stakeholders to prepare them for meetings and communicate audit status • Coordinate stakeholder feedback on proposed exceptions, findings, and reports • Track corrective actions, prepare closure packages, and support independent verification and validation of closure packages • Prepare and update dashboards, timelines, agendas, and other audit documentation • Assist with monthly reconciliation of audit statistics against enterprise risk management office data • Support control testing and updates to the internal controls inventory • Assess and validate the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information systems • Evaluate IT controls, verify compliance with frameworks, and recommend improvements • Coordinate OIG and GAO audits and internal reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience executing full-scope IT audits • Proficient knowledge of federal IT environments and audit tools and techniques • Experience coordinating, managing, and responding to audit and meeting requests • Proficient formal written and oral communication skills • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, FISMA, and OIG and GAO audit processes • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint for audit documentation and tracking • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent audit requests and deadlines • U.S. citizenship required • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Bachelor's degree in information systems, accounting, computer science, or a related field preferred • CISA certification preferred, or progress toward CISA • Quiet, distraction-free workspace with adequate internet • Full attention and availability during working hours • Schedule aligned with core business hours of coworkers and Valiant's clients • Disclosure of current or future outside employment and written approval for outside employment or other professional activities
