📋 Description

• Facilitate cybersecurity consultations introducing system teams to OCISO processes and Authorization and Assessment (A&A) requirements, documenting actions, decisions, and follow-up items • Analyze Binding Operational Directives (BODs), Executive Orders, policy changes, and evolving security standards, and develop compliance implementation plans • Lead planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Security Awareness and Training Program • Develop training materials, campaigns, workshops, and effectiveness metrics • Analyze cybersecurity audit and Security Risk Assessment data to identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities to strengthen security posture • Serve as senior stakeholder for IT security policy, compliance, and cybersecurity training initiatives • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance documentation aligned with RMF, NIST, and organizational requirements • Oversee RMF and NIST-based compliance tracking, reporting, and audit readiness • Ensure cybersecurity, system, network, and Section 508 accessibility requirements are incorporated into IT projects, contracts, acquisitions, and procurement activities • Advise executive leadership on compliance risks, policy gaps, workforce training strategies, and cybersecurity program performance through briefings, presentations, and reports • Partner with IT and cybersecurity process owners to align compliance, governance, and training initiatives with operational objectives

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of cybersecurity experience with demonstrated expertise in policy, compliance, and training • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in a cyber-related field; direct experience or certifications may substitute for academic credentials • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST standards, and federal compliance requirements • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and privacy laws, regulations, and policies • Ability to assess and mitigate risk, conduct audits, and provide assurance reporting • Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into actionable guidance and training • Experience supporting federal compliance programs and audits • Background in Security Management Support Services • Demonstrated ability to lead policy initiatives, resolve business and technical challenges, and present findings to senior executives • Proven experience leading and executing executive presentations, demonstrations, and reporting • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CAP are preferred • Ability to work remotely with a quiet, distraction-free workspace and adequate internet • Full attention and availability during working hours and schedule alignment with coworkers and clients during core business hours • Disclosure of current or future outside employment engagements and written approval for outside employment or professional activities • Sitting or standing at a desk for prolonged periods and consistent computer operation • Frequent electronic, phone, and in-person communication • Ability to occasionally lift or move moderate weight, typically less than 20 pounds
