📋 Description

• Perform process and field services for Pulp & Energy Solutions equipment and products in pulp and paper mills, primarily in the Energy and Recovery portion • Conduct start-ups and commissioning services • Perform inspections and condition assessments • Support maintenance and service agreements • Perform process and emissions tune-ups • Troubleshoot equipment and provide emergency assistance • Plan and execute outages • Advise on construction for rebuild, upgrade and capital projects • Conduct root cause analysis • Develop O&M procedures and perform data monitoring and reporting as directed • Prepare and submit detailed service reports • Work with Field Service Engineers, Product Engineers and Sales personnel • Develop relationships with key customers and conduct service sales visits • Provide hands-on supervision of equipment maintenance, repair, rebuild, troubleshooting and installation at customer sites • Diagnose issues and provide technical solutions during scheduled and emergency service shutdowns in collaboration with engineering and sales personnel • Work independently while facilitating and solving problems on customer projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology • Minimum of five years of related hands-on mechanical experience • Working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, rigging, pipefitting, millwrighting and machining preferred • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams • Ability to oversee projects and manage all aspects of leading a sub-contractor crew • Ability to travel by air or automobile up to 200 days a year • Mostly domestic travel, with occasional international travel • Strong mechanical aptitude • Hydraulic and pneumatic background a plus • Good communication and organizational skills • Strong PC skills • Must pass a background check and drug screen • Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen • Must be living in and authorized to work in the United States • Willingness to travel and take the lead on customer-site projects
