📋 Description

• Set the end-to-end experience vision for Activation, from first login through activation • Turn the experience vision into a roadmap the squad can ship cycle by cycle • Drive product shape and roadmap alongside the PM and EM using customer evidence and data • Design agent-first experiences defining autonomous actions, human review and approval, and trust-building interactions • Create reusable AI patterns and extend existing patterns for guided and agentic experiences • Define activation outcomes, partner with Data to instrument them, and run experiments and iterations • Lead customer discovery with cross-functional partners and lean engineering teams • Share customer insights with leadership through clear, compelling narratives • Align partner teams so growth experiences feel like one product • Document product strategy through briefs and POV documents • Drive large, multi-team initiatives from kickoff to launch • Run recurring reviews and working sessions, track decisions and dependencies, and maintain alignment • Raise interaction, visual, and content quality through critique, mentorship, and engineering partnership • Mentor designers and help uphold the hiring bar • Report to a Design Manager on the Self-Serve design team within Vanta’s Experience Design organization

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and shipping high-quality B2B SaaS products, including work spanning multiple teams and quarters • Track record of designing for business outcomes such as activation, onboarding completion, time-to-value, or retention, with measurable results • Experience shipping AI-powered or automation-heavy products • Strong point of view on how people and agents should work together • Ability to set direction in ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces • Strong written strategy skills, including authoring product briefs, strategy documents, or roadmaps • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives • Fluency with product analytics and experimentation • Exceptional interaction, visual, and content craft on dense, complex product UI • Experience building scalable design patterns across teams • Strong storytelling and communication skills • Experience collaborating with other designers on larger efforts • Mentoring and candid, useful feedback skills • Portfolio required, showing end-to-end product work, key decision reasoning, and outcomes • Experience with product-led growth, onboarding, or guided-setup experiences • Experience designing agentic workflows, conversational interfaces, or human-in-the-loop review flows • Comfort prototyping in code or with AI tools • Familiarity with security, compliance, or GRC is helpful but not required • Uses AI in day-to-day work to amplify skills and strengthen outcomes • Must be legally authorized to work in the location where the role is based • A portfolio is required
