📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end hiring process for Engineering, Product, and Technical roles globally, from talent screen through offer stage • Serve as the first EMEA-based technical recruiter and build hiring practices for engineering talent across the region • Align with US-based People Ops and Engineering teams while adapting to local market norms • Proactively source and engage passive talent from open-source, Kubernetes, and developer-tool communities • Build high-quality pipelines for hard-to-fill technical roles • Champion the structured interview process and ensure effective use of scorecards to reduce bias • Maintain data integrity in the Ashby ATS to inform hiring decisions • Drive an exceptional candidate experience through transparent communication and fast decisions • Collaborate with hiring managers to define technical requirements and ideal talent profiles • Advise on market trends and closing strategies for hard-to-fill engineering roles • Establish new technical hiring practices for the European region • Use data and analytics to track pipeline health and inform decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for technical roles • Experience recruiting Software Engineering, DevOps or Platform, and Product roles • Experience within a high-growth tech startup • Understanding of containers and clusters • Comfortable discussing Kubernetes, Go, and Terraform with candidates • Proven success closing hard-to-find engineering talent • Ability to build talent pipelines beyond inbound applicants • Based in Germany • Ability to work across European and US time zones as needed • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and refining processes • Data-centric approach using data and analytics to track pipeline health and inform decisions • Effective communication and active listening • Bonus: Experience with Ashby ATS • Bonus: Experience recruiting for open-source technology, developer tools, or Kubernetes-focused companies • Bonus: Background hiring for distributed, remote-first engineering teams • Bonus: HR operations, employee relations, or onboarding experience
