📋 Description

• Build working relationships with Sales, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, and other stakeholders to support customer and channel transactions • Review, draft, and negotiate SaaS, BaaS, software, professional services, channel agreements, and NDAs • Provide pragmatic legal advice while identifying, assessing, and managing legal, regulatory, privacy, and commercial risks • Support practical solutions to contractual and commercial issues • Identify and resolve contractual, legal, and operational issues during negotiations • Improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and legal processes • Create and deliver training and awareness materials on legal risks, contracting principles, and approval processes • Collaborate across the Legal department • Advise on data processing arrangements, customer privacy requirements, and related contractual obligations

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 3–8+ years post-qualification experience, gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department • Commercial contracts experience, ideally within a software, SaaS, cloud technology, or broader technology company • Strong drafting, contract review, and negotiation skills • Experience supporting customer and/or partner transactions • Ability to provide practical, succinct, and commercially aware legal advice • Experience working with, or strong interest in supporting, sales organizations and commercial teams • Understanding of privacy and data protection issues in commercial technology transactions, including processing, transfer, storage, and protection of data • Ability to manage a high volume of matters, prioritize effectively, and know when to seek input or escalate issues
