πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to support a defined set of strategic enterprise accounts. β€’ Act as the technical lead throughout complex enterprise sales cycles, from discovery through close. β€’ Conduct deep technical discovery to understand customer security operations, data pipelines, detection strategies, and scalability requirements. β€’ Design and present enterprise-grade architectures that demonstrate how Vega fits into and modernizes the SOC. β€’ Lead technical evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-value (PoV) engagements that clearly articulate ROI, performance, and operational impact. β€’ Deliver compelling technical demos tailored to executive, practitioner, and platform audiences. β€’ Position Vega as a strategic alternative to legacy SIEM, security analytics, and data platforms, addressing scale, cost, and operational complexity. β€’ Support executive briefings, customer QBRs, and architecture reviews with senior security and IT leadership. β€’ Provide product feedback based on real-world customer use cases to influence roadmap and go-to-market strategy. β€’ Maintain accurate technical opportunity notes, evaluation plans, and PoV outcomes in Salesforce and internal systems. β€’ Stay current on evolving security analytics trends, cloud architectures, and AI-driven SOC workflows.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Pre-Sales role within cybersecurity or enterprise software. β€’ Strong technical background in modern security architectures, including SIEM, XDR, security data lakes, log management, and cloud-scale analytics. β€’ Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long evaluation periods. β€’ Experience in high growth, fast paced environments β€’ Ability to engage credibly with CISOs, VP-level security leaders, architects, and hands-on practitioners. β€’ Proven ability to design and explain scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments. β€’ Comfort leading technical evaluations, PoVs, and hands-on workshops in enterprise environments. β€’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate deep technical concepts into business value. β€’ Strong collaboration skills and a team-first mindset when working with Sales and Product. β€’ Willingness to travel regionally for customer meetings and strategic account engagement. β€’ Hands-on experience deploying, operating, or migrating SIEM platforms at scale is nice to have. β€’ Familiarity with large-scale log ingestion pipelines, detection engineering, and SOC workflows is nice to have. β€’ Familiarity with Vega’s mission, architecture, or AI-native approach to security operations is nice to have. β€’ Recent experience working in early-stage startups (Series B/C) is nice to have.
