📋 Description

• Support development and application of analytical models for Global Supply Chain and Purchasing Organizations • Research, organize, compile, analyze, track, and report information and data • Contribute to strategy development and execution, Global Purchasing Value Delivery Tracking, price tracking, and reporting • Analyze Direct and Indirect material category spend • Support budgeting and standard cost processes with the Finance costing team • Support data collection, savings initiatives, cost reductions, and Master Data Clean-up and Governance • Enhance tools that drive efficient work processes and raw material utilization for global sourcing operations • Design, develop, and maintain purchasing dashboards • Collaborate with Finance to validate and track purchasing savings, cost avoidance, and working capital initiatives • Collect, clean, and analyze purchasing and supplier performance data • Analyze market subscription data, statistics, and reports to understand material cost drivers, industry dynamics, market trends, and best practices • Perform ad-hoc analysis for Executive Leadership, Purchasing, Finance, and Commercial teams • Standardize regional data collection and reporting processes • Develop best practices for tracking and reporting purchasing savings projects across regions • Lead the Supplier Master Data Team and maintain accurate supplier information in ERP systems • Create, review, and update purchasing strategies, procedures, and guidelines for supplier master data • Train SMD analysts and stakeholders • Identify, prioritize, and supervise master data clean-up activities • Support purchasing strategic initiatives such as Working Capital Improvement and Supplier Risk Management • Assist with purchasing strategies and plans based on data analysis and market trends • Lead the material budget and strategic planning process with FP&A and Costing • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on purchasing performance and value delivery • Maintain KPI metrics on “the Loop” for companywide visibility and self-serve awareness • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders • Collaborate with costing, plant controllers, supply chain, commercial, and regional purchasing teams • Liaise between Purchasing, FP&A, and IT on data analytics tools and systems • Complete required safety training, use PPE, report unsafe conditions, and follow safety protocols

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance with focus on Planning and Analysis, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in purchasing, data analytics, or related field • Proficiency in data analytics tools and software, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, and Excel Queries • Knowledge of ERP systems, e.g., SAP or Oracle, is an advantage • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to apply analytical models and principles of data science, including data, reporting, process automation, and implementation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong presentation skills, including building operational reports, queries, presentations, and charts/visualizations from data • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders and customers across geographical regions • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting • Understanding of basic finance statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines • Highly motivated and results oriented • Possibility for remote residence in the eastern US within commuting distance of a major airport
