📋 Description

• Build the fraud function from scratch with ownership of systems, tooling, and strategy • Create detection models, anomaly monitoring, and evolving automations • Shape payment flow controls • Address chargeback and refund abuse • Develop systems that protect the platform while preserving user privacy • Own financial fraud detection for stolen cards, fake payments, and chargeback abuse • Collaborate closely with the payments team • Design and implement rules engines, ML models, anomaly detection, and behavioral signals • Investigate incidents and ship fixes • Combat automated abuse and account takeovers, including fake signups, rate-limit evasion, and API key abuse

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience focused on fraud or trust-and-safety work • Hands-on fraud and abuse detection skills, including finding signals, using analytics and ML, and building risk/decisioning systems • An adversarial, red-team mindset: thinking like the attacker, not the vendor, and actively probing systems for holes
