📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM-5-TR diagnoses • Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse mental health and substance use conditions • Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy • Manage patient risk through safety assessments, crisis intervention, and higher-level-of-care coordination • Partner with psychiatry, primary care, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, whole-person care • Participate in clinical quality initiatives, case consultations, peer review, and outcomes monitoring • Mentor Behavioral Health Consultants and junior clinical staff • Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards • Coordinate with psychiatric consultants and PCPs to manage patient panels and communicate recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field • Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent) • Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states • 3+ years post-licensure providing psychotherapy across diverse populations • Advanced training or competency in at least one evidence-based modality (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PST, trauma-focused therapy, etc.) • Experience with high-acuity situations including crisis intervention and safety planning • Strong EHR documentation skills and familiarity with regulatory and payor requirements • Ability to work independently across multiple care settings with minimal supervision • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort managing complex cases
